How the Mind Talks to the Body for Healing

Your mind and body are always in conversation even if you're not consciously aware of it. Thoughts, emotions, and beliefs send signals through your nervous system, influencing everything from muscle tension and digestion to energy levels and immune response. When stress, fear, or unprocessed emotions build up, the body responds by holding onto that tension, desiring a change often showing up as fatigue, discomfort, or imbalance.
